The Consortium

The AFFECT-EU consortium consists of 26 partners, including, health-care providers (nurses, general practirioners, cardiologists, neurologists) and allied healthcare professionals, social scientists, clinical trialists, health economists (specialists in nutrition, environmental sciences), epidemiologists, biologists, a health insurance, policy-maker and industry. AFFECT-EU is a strong consortium built on an established network and long-term co-operations among its partnes, with the aim of implementing AF screening in clinical practice.
